If you need to call the Texas Real Estate Commission, try avoiding Mondays.
TREC says that Mondays, the first and last days of the month, and the day after a holiday closure are the most popular days to call. Your hold time on those days may be longer than if you choose a different day to call.
Hold times may also increase slightly around midday when Customer Relations Team staff take staggered lunch breaks.
TREC and TALCB reported 17,839 calls in January and the average hold time was 1 minute, 49 seconds. Learn more about TREC hold times and other data in the commission’s monthly staff reports.
TREC staff had done a great job in reducing hold time. So has TXR with regards to calls to the legal hot line.
